Gotion Inc. is based in Silicon Valley, CA, currently building a Manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL and has R&D centers in Ohio, China, Japan and Europe. Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced General Accountant with approximately 6 years of accounting experience to join our finance team at the Manteno factory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and general ledger management, along with experience in international environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and budgets.
• Analyze variances to provide actionable insights for management.
• Maintain and analyze the financial reporting and general ledger systems.
• Build and lead the financial team.
• Enhance project accounting systems for efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage financing activities, M&A projects, tax planning, audits, and risk control measures.
• Ensure proper accounting and business controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
• Analyze financial reports of competitors and market trends.
• Provide insightful information to aid in the company's strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience.
• Proven experience in financial analysis and modeling.
• Experience in an international working environment; experience in the US battery industry is a plus.
• Fluency in English is required.

Technical Skills:

• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP.

Soft Skills:

• Self-starter with the ability to analyze, prioritize, and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Positive attitude with adaptability to changes in workload and job requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop collaborative working relationships with cross-functional teams.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $80k – $100k, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by factors such as the role, level, and geographic location. The range listed in the job posting represents the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across all U.S. locations. Actual compensation within the range will be influenced by the specific work location, along with factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
