Job summary

Washington Generators is seeking a skilled technician to install and repair standby generators, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot new circuits and panel changes. You will ensure adherence to quality and safety codes while supporting customers with reliable, on-site service.

The role requires a Washington journeyman license, a valid driver's license, and experience with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and hand tools. Physical work in crawl spaces and attics is common.

Qualifications

• Journeyman License in the state of Washington.
• Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to understand wiring diagrams, motors, transformers.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to be on your feet/knees for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in crawl spaces and attics for periods.
