You will help customers in person, by phone, and online, guiding them through databases and print resources. • Familiar with genealogical research methodology and databases.
• Customer service experience and strong communication skills.
• Able to speak publicly to run programs and events.
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide reference assistance in person, by phone, and via email; process obituary requests and schedule sessions.
• Assist genealogy patrons at the Genealogy desk; help navigate digital databases and locate materials.
• Facilitate research projects and programs for the genealogy collection; create displays and lists in the catalog.
• Ensure patrons follow library policies to maintain a safe environment.
• Represent the Library at outreach events in the community.
