Job summary

AskBio Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer II to join the MSAT Process Engineering team and support scale-up, technology transfer, and cGMP manufacturing for clinical production.

The role includes onboarding programs into the MSAT lab and transferring them to the contract manufacturing facility. You will perform phase III enabling activities, develop small-scale models, document protocols, present results to stakeholders, and help optimize processes with a data‑driven approach in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years biopharmaceutical experience OR Master’s degree or HS diploma with 6+ years biopharmaceutical experience.
• Hands-on upstream or downstream biomanufacturing laboratory experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transfer small-scale gene therapy processes into MSAT and scale‑up to cGMP manufacturing.
• Perform process characterization experiments to generate robustness data and define the PPQ strategy.
• Develop and qualify small-scale models predictive of cGMP manufacturing scale.
• Author protocols and reports; maintain organized electronic notebooks.
• Communicate results through technical presentations to internal stakeholders.
• Support investigations with data-driven root-cause analyses and issue resolution.
