Position

The Gender and Sexuality Studies and Queer Studies Programs at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses in the following subject areas:
    • Gender & Sexuality Studies 100 – Decoding Desire: Gender and Sexuality in the Humanities
    • Gender & Sexuality Studies 205 – Gender and Globalization
    • Gender & Sexuality Studies 302 – Gender and Sexuality Studies
    • Gender & Sexuality Studies 320 – Digital Culture, Gender and Sexuality
  • Provide instruction on a temporary basis, with appointments often at short notice.

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or ABD status in Gender and Sexuality Studies, Queer Studies or a related field; M.A. may be considered with substantial graduate coursework.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively with a culturally diverse student body.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with diverse populations and fostering an inclusive environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Feminist/gender theory, Queer Theory, and Critical Race Theory.
