St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute (SLBMI) is seeking Licensed Psychologists with expertise and a passion for treating patients who identify as transgender, non-binary, gender queer, or in some way that is other than binary! We are committed to growth and are always looking to hire exceptional talent to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Treat patients with gender-affirming psychosocial interventions, including assessments and letters for hormones and surgeries.
  • Work primarily with individual outpatients, with potential to expand services like group and family therapy.
  • Develop therapy groups, engage in community outreach, and provide support for diverse sexual orientations.
  • Participate in training and supervision if joining as a Specialist-in-Training.
Additional Details

Note: Local candidates in MO preferred, but telehealth options are available for eligible candidates licensed in Missouri or PSYPACT states. Clinicians enjoy a supportive, collaborative environment with administrative support, flexible scheduling, and a competitive compensation model based on net collections.

Qualifications
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health field (e.g., MSW, Counseling, Ph.D.) and full licensure in Missouri.
  • Psychologists outside Missouri must hold a current PSYPACT credential and be willing to maintain it.
  • Credentialing eligibility for managed care panels in Missouri is required, with a 90-day credentialing period.
