Phota Labs in San Jose develops visual GenAI to capture, express, and relive memories with an authentic, human touch. The New Media Marketing Creator role blends photography, GenAI, storytelling, and social media to shape how the world sees Phota Labs.

You’ll bring hands-on content creation, test new visual formats, and provide feedback from a creator’s perspective to inform product direction. This position emphasizes in-person collaboration with the founding team and flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Passion for photography and creative tools.
• Strong sense for what performs well on short-form platforms.
• Able to film, edit, shoot, and craft narratives.
• Curious, playful and willing to hack creatively to push limits.

Responsibilities

• Create original photo and video content using our app and API for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other social channels.
• Explore new creative workflows using our models — experimenting, pushing limits, surfacing unexpected use cases.
• Help craft the visual voice and identity of Phota Labs across platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to showcase new features and give structured feedback from a creator’s perspective.
• Participate in beta rollouts and help us understand what resonates with real users.
• Build and maintain a library of reference content, creative concepts, trends, and inspiration.
