Invesco is seeking a Software Engineer for the SIP team to design, build, and scale next-generation AI applications. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and investment professionals to deliver AI-powered tools that solve complex business problems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will prototype rapidly, implement agentic workflows, and contribute to a Generative AI platform while embracing a startup mindset and agile practices across cloud-native services.

Qualifikationen

• Creative Problem Solver: 0-2 years of portfolio projects showing web app work.
• Proficient in Python (AI/Backend) and TypeScript/React (Frontend).
• Comfort using AI coding assistants and LLMs to debug and generate boilerplate.
• Exposure to LangGraph, LangChain, and agentic design patterns encouraged.
• Familiar with containerized environments (Docker) and basic cloud concepts (AWS/Azure).
• Proactive, fast-paced learner with an Agile work style.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and investment pros to build AI tools.
• Prototype new solutions quickly to accelerate the idea-to-MVP cycle.
• Develop and refine Invesco's Generative AI platform with prompts and workflows.
• Deliver cloud-native microservices and UI components integrated with AI layers.
• Build validations and guardrails for agent frameworks used across use cases.
• Apply AI-first engineering to scale agentic systems while ensuring quality.
