Job summary

Fractal is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead for a GenAI product at the intersection of large language models and enterprise analytics. You will architect and ship production systems, own delivery quality, and set technical direction for a distributed engineering team.

You will lead end-to-end GenAI systems, with focus on LLM orchestration, retrieval, and agentic workflows, while prototyping against evolving requirements and ensuring production readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience with 4+ years building production GenAI/LLM systems.
• Proven record of building RAG pipelines, multi-agent or agentic systems with measurable outcomes.
• Hands-on with agent orchestration frameworks and modern GenAI patterns (tool calls, structured outputs, retrieval, context engineering).
• Strong Python and backend fundamentals; REST and streaming APIs; containerized deployment with Docker/Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship production GenAI systems end to end, remaining hands-on in code.
• Own architecture across LLM orchestration, retrieval, agentic workflows, and analytics delivery.
• Prototype against evolving requirements and harden approaches into production-ready systems.
• Set technical direction for a distributed offshore engineering team and ensure ship quality.
• Establish evaluation, observability, and guardrails for measurable system quality.
