Job summary

Adobe's Research and AI team builds foundational generative AI models and applications for Adobe products, enabling customers to ideate, build, and scale content in new ways. The Principal PM role defines and advances generative capabilities in image and video, influencing product direction across Photoshop, Express, and other tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of product management experience, especially in AI/ML or research environments.
• Strong technical knowledge to engage with model researchers on architecture and metrics.
• Ability to translate varied user needs into practical product directions.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the roadmap for core generative AI capabilities across product areas.
• Collaborate with model researchers to guide research direction and requirements.
• Translate customer needs from creatives and business users into strategy.
• Ensure smooth integration with Adobe product partners.
• Build evidence-based views on quality, cost, and latency with tradeoffs.
• Provide feedback on model quality and scalable evaluation frameworks.
• Analyze competitive landscape and identify differentiation opportunities.
• Establish feedback loops to ensure customer value.
