Job summary

Lightfield is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for its GenAI Platform to advance ML infrastructure and scale AI products across teams. You will help build scalable, user-friendly ML platforms and collaborate closely with internal partners on best practices in AI-driven software engineering.

You will recruit and mentor teammates while tackling open-ended technical challenges in AI, automation, and LLM-driven workflows in a fast-evolving environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in CS, Engineering, AI or related field.
• 6+ years of software engineering with a focus on ML infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of deep learning AI/ML frameworks and cloud services.
• Experience integrating software engineering with large language models.
• Ability to tackle open-ended AI-driven engineering challenges.
• Excellent collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of ML product development infrastructure, focusing on scaling and innovating in collaboration and prompting for LLMs.
• Create and maintain a platform used by multiple teams for ML products, ensuring scalability and usability.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate ML solutions and define AI software engineering best practices.
• Help build a world-class AI/ML engineering team through recruiting and mentoring.
• Address open-ended technological challenges in AI-driven systems at scale.
