Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Python engineering experience developing scalable platforms and services.
• 3+ years delivering complex backend solutions and services into production.
• Proven success in projects of varying size and complexity.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI systems, AIOps, and application monitoring.
• Experience with public cloud architectures.
• Passion for integrating AI/ML technologies.
• Experience with software development agents, agile development, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and code reviews.
• Quick learner, strong analytical skills, and strategic mindset.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage tasks effectively.
• Experience in the financial industry is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of GenAI platforms, applications, and services using Python, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Assist in ensuring seamless operation, scalability, and integration of AI capabilities across Citi business units.
• Collaborate with data science, technical, and business stakeholders to define and design key use-cases.
• Participate in deploying new GenAI products and process improvements, working with internal and external partners.
• Resolve technical and business problems by evaluating complex processes and architecture.
• Provide guidance on modern programming practices and ensure platform adherence to architectural blueprints.
• Maintain coding standards, testing methodologies, debugging practices, and implementation strategies for enterprise-grade solutions.
• Manage individual contributions to multiple concurrent initiatives of varying complexity.
• Engage with external vendors and startups for joint initiatives and new technology exploration.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of business, architecture, and infrastructure within the GenAI ecosystem.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge on AI technologies.
• Collaborate with Risk and Control teams to ensure governance and best practices.
