Job summary

HP, Inc. is seeking an AI/ML Platform Engineer to build and operate a centralized platform for Generative AI and large language models. The role blends hands-on coding, infra troubleshooting, and collaboration with business units to reduce friction and enable scalable ML solutions.

The position focuses on deploying models across SageMaker, Bedrock, Azure ML Foundry, and Kubernetes, while improving tooling, documentation, and onboarding for new teams.

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in CS, statistics, mathematics, data science, or related discipline.
• Typically 7–10 years of experience in programming, ML, algorithms, or related field.
• Experience with large language models and generative AI is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and enablement skills.

Responsibilities

• Build internal platform tools and services using Python/FastAPI and CI/CD tooling.
• Integrate MCP/gateway and develop AI-enabled automations.
• Provision resources in AWS and Azure using Terraform and troubleshoot deployments.
• Collaborate with teams through standups, design reviews, and onboarding new teams.
• Help productionize models across SageMaker, Bedrock, Azure ML/Foundry, and Kubernetes.
• Create documentation and improve platform usability.
