Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer for the AWS ProServe team in Austin.

You will design, evangelize, implement, and scale AI/ML solutions that meet customer requirements and business objectives, driving AI transformation and maximum value. You will architect scalable models, train and fine-tune GenAI systems, and work with stakeholders to scope use cases, data infrastructure, and proof-of-concept experiments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• 3+ years ML/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques.
• Experience in professional software engineering & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, architectures, code reviews, source control, CI/CD, testing, and operations.
• Experience in defining and creating benchmarks for assessing GenAI model performance.
• Experience applying quantitative analysis to solve business problems and working on multi-team, cross-disciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure AI/ML solutions on AWS for customer needs and fine-tune models for use cases.
• Develop and deploy ML models and GenAI apps, conduct experiments, and optimize performance at scale.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-value AI/ML use cases and gather requirements.
• Provide technical guidance on applying AI responsibly and cost-efficiently across project delivery.
• Act as trusted advisor on advancements in AI/ML and diverse data sources for business impact.
• Share knowledge through mentoring, training, and prototyping new technologies.
