Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Data Scientist Advisor in Bangalore to lead ML and GenAI initiatives for large-scale projects. You’ll collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to deploy scalable AI solutions, optimize models, and monitor production systems.

The role requires deep knowledge of ML, GenAI, LLMs, NLP, distributed computing, and strong Python coding skills. You will drive end-to-end deployment and stay ahead of AI advancements to deliver impactful results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or AI-related roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Stack.
• Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers or scikit-learn.
• Strong coding skills and version control (Git).
• Experience across the project lifecycle, from business analysis to deployment.
• Experience working with databases (SQL).
• Deep understanding of ML, GenAI (LLMs, NLP, GANs).
• Proven track record with large-scale ML projects and distributed computing frameworks.
• Data manipulation, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of advanced ML and GenAI models for large-scale AI projects.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to build scalable ML/GenAI solutions.
• Drive end-to-end deployment of ML/GenAI models into production and monitor performance.
• Conduct data analysis and feature engineering on high-volume datasets.
• Optimize and fine-tune ML/GenAI models for accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay current with ML and GenAI advancements and apply them to improve systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver AI solutions on schedule.
