We are seeking a visionary GenAI & ML Architect to lead our AI/ML initiatives and drive transformational outcomes for our clients. This high-impact role requires deep expertise in AI, machine learning (ML), and Generative AI (GenAI), along with a proven ability to lead teams and deliver innovative solutions. As an architect, you will shape strategy, guide architecture, and work hands-on during critical build phases. You'll also mentor team members and engage directly with clients, using your technical and business acumen to influence outcomes and foster trust.

What You'll Do

1. Architecture & Delivery
   • Serve as a subject matter expert on generative AI, guiding cross-functional teams, including digital, platform, and governance stakeholders.
   • Serve as a hands-on architect, designing scalable AI/ML solutions and providing technical leadership across projects.
   • Lead the design, implementation, and governance of AI/ML architectures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, scalability, security, and compliance standards; establish and enforce architectural guidelines, standards, and processes to drive consistent and efficient development across teams.
   • Oversee the full lifecycle of AI/ML solutions, including discovery, proof of concept (PoC), deployment, and optimization.
   • Collaborate with cloud architecture and engineering teams to deliver integrated AI/ML solutions within larger transformation initiatives.
2. Client Engagement
   • Partner with sales teams as a technical expert during pre-sales activities, including presentations and proposal development.
   • Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to understand client requirements, define technical solutions, and articulate business value.
   • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert (SME) for client stakeholders, providing thought leadership and best practices.
3. Thought Leadership
   • Stay at the forefront of AI/ML trends, evaluating new technologies and contributing to the organization's technical knowledge base.
   • Represent RapidScale at industry events and conferences, establishing a market presence for the AI/ML practice.

What You Bring

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years' experience in Software Architect/Engineer roles OR a Master's degree and 4 years' experience OR a Ph.D. and 1 year' experience OR 10 years' experience in similar roles.
• Proven experience designing and deploying cloud-based AI/ML architectures at scale, with strong risk assessment and business alignment skills.
• Extensive expertise in Generative AI and ML frameworks, including GANs, VAEs, transformers, and LLMs.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; experience with Java, C++, R is a plus.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI/ML tools such as SageMaker, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in consulting or professional services with client-facing solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, DevOps, and automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Expertise in NLP, recommendation systems, real-time decision engines.

Salary range: USD 131,600 - 219,400 per year. Compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. Additional incentives may apply.
