Job summary

Google is seeking software engineers to productionize GenAI shopping features across its major surfaces, including Search, Commerce, Ads, Chrome, and YouTube. You’ll scale multimodal GenAI to production quality using Google’s infrastructure for highly customized user experiences.

Our Ads team applies cutting-edge ML and Generative AI models like Gemini to power a multi-billion dollar global business, collaborating with Google Research and DeepMind to solve complex challenges at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of software development experience in one or more languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (deployment, evaluation, processing).

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Collaborate through design and code reviews to ensure best practices.
• Contribute to documentation and adapt content to product updates.
• Triage issues and debug/resolve impacting hardware, network, or service operations.
• Implement ML solutions, utilize ML infrastructure, and optimize data processing.
