Job summary

GuidePoint Security seeks an Innovation Engineer to design, implement, and operationalize secure GenAI capabilities across the enterprise. You will work with IT infrastructure and information security to ensure compliant deployments and scalable AI services that align with business goals.

You will partner with technical teams to enable internal users, design secure data pipelines, and stay current with AI trends while optimizing performance and cost.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud engineering and/or solutions architecture with AWS focus.
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting AI solutions on AWS.
• Experience with core AWS services (IAM, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
• Designing secure, cloud-based AI solutions on AWS including AWS security services.
• Experience with Bedrock, SageMaker, Transcribe, Rekognition and related AWS services.
• Collaborative work with IT Operations and Information Security on cloud deployments.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Solid understanding of generative AI concepts, LLMs and prompts.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience applying security principles to AI implementations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, secure, and manage GenAI solutions for internal use.
• Guide internal teams using SaaS AI services to build custom apps.
• Design data connectors and ingestion pipelines for enterprise data sources.
• Collaborate with InfoSec and IT to define security requirements and controls.
• Establish monitoring and alerting for AI solutions and optimize costs.
• Act as liaison between stakeholders, IT ops, and security for AI initiatives.
• Stay current with SaaS AI/ML trends and cloud security best practices.
• Create architecture diagrams and security guidelines.
• Contribute to AI/ML roadmap and future planning.
• Develop educational material for safe AI usage.
