Job summary

Google Cloud seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge frontier AI products with production reality for customers. You’ll code, debug, and ship bespoke AI solutions directly in customer environments as an embedded innovator-builder.

Based in US locations with Go-To-Market alignment, you’ll handle production blockers and ensure scalable, secure deployments across GenMedia and Gemini/Vertex AI portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8 years building and shipping AI-driven or software solutions using Python, C++, or TypeScript.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with executives and engineers.
• Experience with generative media models in cloud platforms and workflows.
• Experience ensuring data sovereignty, GDPR compliance, and secure governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex AI applications, moving from prototypes to production-grade workflows.
• Architect connections between Google AI products and customer live infrastructure.
• Build integrations, SDKs, and middleware wiring AI models into creative suites.
• Identify patterns and friction points to create reusable modules or feature requests.
• Collaborate with customer teams to embed Google-grade development practices.
