Job summary

Amazon Science in Bellevue, WA is seeking an Applied Scientist to shape the company’s long-term planning using GenAI and reinforcement learning. You will develop forecasting, planning and insight generation products powered by GenAI and RL, designing novel solutions for large-scale problems that influence Amazon’s multi-year strategies.

You will collaborate with applied scientists, researchers, economists, PMs and software engineers to translate complex theory into scalable, data-driven systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of building models for business applications.
• PhD, or Master’s with 4+ years of CS/CE/ML experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python.
