Job summary

Equifax is seeking a Generative AI Engineer to build and deploy GenAI pipelines on Vertex AI. You will work with large data sources across GCP to generate actionable insights for our business and customers.

The role emphasizes designing, implementing, and maintaining AI solutions, with a focus on prompt engineering, RAG, and real-time analytics. Collaboration across teams and clear communication are essential in a data-driven, cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as CS, CS Engineering or Math.
• 2+ years shipping production-grade software.
• 1+ years deploying solutions on modern cloud environments.
• Comfort learning new tech and contributing to cutting-edge AI projects.
• Proficient in Python, LangChain, and Java or C/C++.
• Experience with REST API clients and frameworks like Spring/Flask.
• Strong ability to communicate analytical results to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy GenAI components on Google Cloud Vertex AI for insights from data.
• Integrate diverse data sources into AI/LLM-based solutions.
• Apply prompt engineering and RAG strategies to improve accuracy.
• Embed GenAI capabilities into data pipelines, dashboards, and real-time APIs.
• Translate business requests into AI-enabled analytical solutions.
• Stay current on generative AI advances and relevant data analytics.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
