Job summary

Tech Mirrors is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join its Business Support team in Plano, onsite. The role emphasizes hands-on AI engineering, GenAI workflows, and rapid prototyping with LLMs.

The candidate will research emerging AI technologies, evaluate tools and models, build proof-of-concept solutions, and collaborate with engineering to scale prototypes into production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• 5+ years in AI engineering, research, or prototyping.
• Strong Python programming experience.
• Hands-on TensorFlow and PyTorch experience.
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, LangChain/LangSmith, and modern generative AI frameworks.
• Experience building PoCs, prototypes, and experimental AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Research AI/ML trends focusing on Generative AI, LLMs, and agent frameworks.
• Build rapid prototypes using Python, AI SDKs, and model APIs.
• Develop GenAI workflows, agentic systems, and retrieval-augmented generation apps.
• Conduct model benchmarking, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning experiments.
• Collaborate with engineering to productionize prototypes and propose scalable architectures.
• Document experiments, results, and recommendations for leadership.
