Job summary

Capgemini is hiring a GenAI Engineer / Data Scientist to design, build, and deploy generative and predictive AI solutions from Chicago. You will develop and deploy AI models, integrate NLP, CV, and various ML techniques, and leverage cloud-native platforms and REST APIs.

The role requires 5+ years in Data Science/AI, strong Python/SQL skills, and experience with LangChain, TensorFlow, and MLOps. This hybrid position is based in Chicago with remote options across select hubs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or Advanced Analytics.
• Strong programming experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs, JSON, HTTP protocols, and authentication/token-based security.
• Strong understanding of API integration, documentation, and enterprise connectivity.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and modern AI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Generative AI and Predictive AI models for enterprise use cases.
• Build AI solutions using NLP, computer vision, classification, regression, and clustering techniques.
• Design and integrate AI applications using APIs, REST services, authentication frameworks, and cloud-native platforms.
• Create AI agents and autonomous workflows for process automation and decision-making.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and LLM-powered applications.
