Job summary

Proclinical is seeking a GenAI Engineer on a contract basis in the Bay Area to develop enterprise-grade generative AI applications and specialized agents. You will work on orchestration capabilities, reusable tools, and compliance-focused agents delivering grounded outputs for wide application use.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript for backend engineering.
• Experience with agent orchestration, workflow routing, and multi-agent chaining.
• Strong API and schema design skills.
• Knowledge of integrating user intent, history, and screen context.
• Hands-on with AWS, Bedrock, and AgentCore.
• Ability to deliver production-ready, tested code independently.
• Preferred: capability registries, agent catalogs, or discovery services.
• Preferred: pharmaceutical content/compliance workflows or regulated systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop routing, agent chaining, and reusable tools for enterprise GenAI apps.
• Build logic to process user intent, screen context, and workflow data into structured requests.
• Transform agent results into narratives, tables, charts, and consistent payloads.
• Design and maintain APIs and schemas with JSON contracts.
• Integrate agents with APIs, document repositories, content systems, and other agents.
• Implement validation, citations, provenance tracking, and controls for unsupported outputs.
• Write automated tests and evaluations to ensure agent accuracy and reliability.
• Deploy GenAI services using AWS, Bedrock, and AgentCore.
