Job summary

Ledgent Technology in Plano, TX seeks an AI DevOps Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise GenAI solutions for client projects. This W2 contract role combines hands-on AI development with DevOps and production support across development and production environments.

The position requires 9+ years of software/AI experience, strong GenAI/LLM expertise, and hands-on work with CI/CD, Docker, and cloud platforms. Onsite work in Plano, TX is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 9+ years of software development, AI, cloud, or DevOps experience, with GenAI/LLM development strongly preferred.
• Experience in IT consulting or client-facing environments is desirable.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to explain complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI agents, GenAI applications, and AI-powered automation based on client requirements.
• Develop, test, deploy, monitor, and enhance AI solutions across development and production environments.
• Translate client business requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Implement and maintain RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, tool/function calling, and LLM integrations.
• Provide ongoing DevOps and production support, including monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, upgrades, and incident resolution.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Evaluate emerging AI models, frameworks, and technologies and recommend solutions for client projects.
