Job summary

Nelnet, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge Nelnet’s GenAI delivery team with higher education and SLED clients.

You will scope solutions on the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, translate requirements into a scoped backlog, and ensure alignment with client needs rather than generic platform capabilities. You will own technical scope, manage risk, and collaborate with an Engagement Manager and delivery engineers to deliver compliant, impactful AI solutions for education

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience scoping and delivering GenAI solutions for enterprise or institutional clients.
• Direct experience with Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform preferred; other GenAI delivery experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and scope use cases on Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform.
• Build and maintain delivery backlog and align with Engagement Manager.
• Identify data governance, security, and FERPA considerations early in design.
