Job summary

Micron Technology in the United States is seeking a highly skilled AI/ML systems engineer to drive GenAI, machine learning, and analytics within ASIC engineering workflows. You will collaborate with System Architecture, Logic Design, and Data Science teams to prototype, build, and scale practical AI-driven solutions for pre- and post-silicon activities.

The role emphasizes production deployment, RAG, prompt engineering, and scalable, enterprise-grade AI systems with reliability and traceability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years or Master’s with 8+ in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, AI or related field.
• Minimum 4 years hands-on experience developing and deploying AI applications in semiconductors or related engineering industries.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python.

Responsibilities

• GenAI System Development: design, build, and improve GenAI-powered systems for ASIC engineering workflows including data extraction and analytics.
• LLM Workflow Engineering: build/evaluate/optimize prompts, RAG and Graph-RAG workflows, benchmarking and quality evaluation.
• Machine Learning Production: develop ML/DL models for classification, regression, anomaly detection, and engineering decision support.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with domain experts to translate problems into scalable AI/ML solutions.
• Production Deployment: support deployment, monitoring, and operationalization of AI/ML solutions in cloud/enterprise environments.
• Technical Communication: clearly communicate findings and outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Innovation Leadership: identify and drive high-impact GenAI opportunities to improve productivity and business outcomes.
