Job summary

Textron is seeking an IT Custom Developer II to design, develop, and deploy both custom software and GenAI solutions. You will collaborate with data engineers, IT analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical designs and scalable architectures.

The role requires hands-on coding with Python/C#, ML libraries, and experience with cloud-native patterns, DevOps practices, and data integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Science, AI, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in custom app development, software eng, or AI/ML.
• Proficiency in Python/C# and knowledge of Java/JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support custom software and GenAI solutions.
• Contribute to GenAI-enabled apps, including prompt orchestration and API integration.
• Architect scalable, secure applications with enterprise standards.
