Job summary

SATCON Inc. is seeking a GenAI Engineer for Charlotte, NC and Dallas, TX to design, deploy, and manage GenAI and ML workloads in Azure-centric multi-cloud environments.

You will implement IaC with Terraform, automate end-to-end ML pipelines, collaborate with data scientists, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring security and compliance in enterprise-scale deployments. Stay current with Azure ML services and ensure robust monitoring, logging, and incident readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years as Cloud/DevOps engineer with 3+ years Terraform in Azure.
• Proven expertise deploying ML/GenAI with Azure ML.
• Hands-on with multi-cloud architectures (Azure required).
• Strong knowledge of IaC concepts and Terraform features.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash.
• Security best practices in cloud AI environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and agile collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain IaC using Terraform for Azure resources.
• Deploy and orchestrate ML/GenAI models with CI/CD integrations.
• Architect multi-cloud environments (Azure primary) for hybrids.
• Optimize cloud infra for AI/ML workloads and security.
• Implement MLOps with monitoring, logging, and alerts.
• Enforce modular Terraform code and automated testing.
• Troubleshoot production AI infra; ensure high availability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to docs.
• Stay updated on Azure ML services and integrate them.
