Job summary

DIRECTV is seeking a Principal AI Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-grade Generative AI architectures. You will drive GenAI strategy, architect MCP implementations, and govern AI patterns across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years in Enterprise Architecture roles; 8+ preferred.
• Deep expertise in Generative AI and AI/ML architectures.
• Experience designing multi-agent systems and orchestration frameworks.
• Ability to design secure, scalable, and governable AI architectures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority for Generative AI across the enterprise.
• Drive GenAI strategy and solution design using LLMs, RAG, and agent frameworks.
• Architect MCP implementations with secure sharing across AI workflows.
• Lead multi-agent and agent-to-agent orchestration architectures.
• Define orchestration strategies balancing performance, cost, and reliability.
• Translate business problems into AI solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Lead workshops aligning AI capabilities with DIRECTV goals.
• Establish reusable AI patterns and governance practices.
• Ensure modular designs adaptable to evolving models and vendors.
• Provide guidance to delivery teams on AI standards.
• Deliver expert-level technical leadership and long-term sustainability.
