Job summary

DATAECONOMY is seeking a GenAI/AgenticAI Engineer in Rutherford, NJ or Jersey City, NJ to design, build, and deploy secure GenAI applications. The role requires leading the development of AI pipelines, integrating Databricks data, and leveraging AWS Bedrock and related services.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years total experience with 2+ years focused on GenAI/Agentic AI engineering in cloud environments, strong Python skills, and expertise in relevant libraries and architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
• Around 5+ years of total experience and 2+ years as GenAI/Agentic AI engineer using cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with minimal directions and guide the team.
• Research, learn, and apply new tools and techniques rapidly and suggest new concepts to improve performance.
• Recognize the current application infrastructure and suggest new concepts to improve performance.
• Design and build production-grade and secure GenAI and Agentic AI applications.
• Produce reusable, efficient, and scalable programs, and cost-effective strategies.
• Develop AI pipelines and integrate with data in Databricks and leverage AWS services (S3, EC2, API Gateway, Bedrock, Lambda).
• Work on tight timelines when required.
