Job summary

Synechron in Charlotte, NC seeks a GenAI Solutions Architect to design secure, scalable generative AI solutions and partner with business, product, engineering, data, and security teams.

You will lead end-to-end GenAI initiatives, define best practices for prompts, model selection, monitoring, and cost optimization, and ensure compliance with security and governance requirements while delivering production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in software engineering, cloud or ML architectures.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud) proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of LLMs, RAG, embeddings and AI agents.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, databases, containers, CI/CD, MLOps.
• Understanding of cloud security, data privacy, and enterprise architecture.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face and vector databases.
• Certifications in cloud architecture or AI are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end GenAI solutions using LLMs, RAG, embeddings and vector databases.
• Lead technical discovery, architecture design, PoCs and production implementations.
• Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise apps, APIs, data platforms and workflows.
• Define best practices for prompt engineering, model selection, evaluation, monitoring and cost optimization.
• Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, governance and responsible AI standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to deploy production-ready solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend business-aligned solutions.

We are looking for a GenAI Solutions Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable, and business-focused generative AI solutions. Candidate will partner with business, product, engineering, data, and security teams to turn complex business challenges into practical AI applications.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $140k - $150k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Strong experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, solution architecture, data engineering, or machine learning.
• Experience with one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and AI agents.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, databases, containers, CI/CD, and MLOps.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, data privacy, and enterprise architecture.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
• Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, Redis, or pgvector.
• Responsible AI, AI governance, model evaluation, or regulatory compliance.
• Cloud architecture or relevant AI certifications.
