Job summary

Goldman Sachs in the United States is seeking an Agentic Systems Engineer to build intelligent research tools and autonomous pipelines, collaborating with senior engineers to develop end-to-end full-stack applications and integrate AI services into GIR platforms.

You will implement RAG pipelines, multi-agent workflows, and tool calling, while ensuring scalable deployment on AWS and maintaining CI/CD, testing, and Agile practices. The role emphasizes secure data handling and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain end-to-end full-stack features, integrating analyst-facing frontends with backend APIs and microservices implemented in Java or Python.
• Implement and optimize advanced RAG pipelines and stateful multi-agent workflows using Google ADK, LangChain, LangGraph, AWS Bedrock, or equivalent technologies.
• Integrate AI services into GIR platforms with proper outputs, tools calling, and human-in-the-loop steps.
• Deploy and connect AI components with enterprise services on AWS (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, S3, IAM, API Gateway).
• Monitor model and service performance using CloudWatch and distributed tracing; triage production incidents and optimize resource usage.
• Participate in peer code reviews, write automated tests, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and document integration patterns and data models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams in Agile sprints to translate research requirements into deliverable stories.
