Job summary

Goldman Sachs in the United States seeks an Agentic Systems Engineer to build end-to-end AI-enabled research tools and productionize agentic pipelines, collaborating with senior engineers on full-stack apps, RAG components, and AI services for GIR platforms.

You'll implement feature engineering across Java or Python backends and modern web tech, deploy on AWS, ensure observability, participate in SDLC, and support agile teams in delivering research-driven software at market speed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on software engineering with Java or Python and modern full-stack tech.
• Experience building Gen AI apps with Google ADK, LangGraph, or equivalent frameworks and AWS Bedrock.
• Experience with evaluation pipelines and prompt testing using Braintrust or AgentCore Eval.
• Knowledge of AWS services: Lambda, ECS/Fargate, S3, EventBridge, CloudWatch, API Gateway.
• Solid SDLC tooling experience: Git, Docker, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Build and productionize AI-enabled research tools and agentic pipelines.
• Develop end-to-end full-stack features linking frontends to microservices.
• Implement and optimize RAG pipelines and multi-agent workflows.
• Deploy AI components on AWS and ensure observability and reliability.
• Participate in Agile sprints and contribute to code reviews and tests.
