Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking a Gen AI Python Developer for an 18-month W2 contract. The role is hybrid: 3 days onsite in Jersey City, 2 days remote, with work across Jersey City, Charlotte, and Addison.

You will develop expert Python solutions, work with MongoDB, Redis, Angular/React, containerization, ML/GenAI lifecycle tooling, MLFlow, Kubeflow, and build API-based apps using FastAPI, JWT, and API Gateway, in a large multi-repo environment with CI/CD and DevOps tooling.

Qualifications

• Expert Python development skills.
• Hands-on experience in application development using MongoDB, Redis, Angular/React, and containerization.
• Experience with AI/ML/GenAI lifecycle management and tools such as MLFlow and Kubeflow.
• Hands-on experience building frameworks and inference techniques.
• Building API-based applications with FastAPI, JWT, and API Gateway.
• Experience in large teams across multi-repo codebases with CI/CD and DevOps tooling.

Responsibilities

• Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver defined requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Utilizes multiple architectural components across data, application, and business domains.
• Performs CI/CD activities and contributes to development lifecycle estimates.

• Hands-on experience in application development in one or more areas MongoDB, Redis, Angular/React Frameworks, Containerization.
• Experience with AI/ML/GenAI Lifecycle Management and Development and its Ecosystem
• Hands on experience building frameworks using MLFlow, KubeFlow, Fine – Tuning techniques, Inference Frameworks
• Building API based application leveraging FAST API services, JWT Integration, API Gateway
• Working in large sized teams that collaboratively develop on a shared multi-repo codebase using IDEs (e.g. VS Code rather than Jupyter Notebooks), Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD) and Continuous Testing
• Hands-on DevOps experience with one or more of the following enterprise development tools: Version Control (GIT/Bitbucket), Build Orchestration (Jenkins), Code Quality (SonarQube and pytest Unit Testing), Artifact Management (Artifactory) and Deployment (Ansible)
