Job summary

Bank of America seeks a senior data governance leader to drive enterprise data governance, metadata management, and AI governance across the GenAI platform. You will shape governance standards, enable self-service analytics, and partner with risk, security, and data stewards to ensure compliant data usage.

You will mentor engineers, define operating models, and lead data engineering initiatives for data pipelines, lineage, and cataloging, supporting platform tenants and business value

Qualifications

• Lead and implement enterprise data governance standards across GenAI platforms.
• Establish governance controls for privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive metadata management, data lineage, and business glossary initiatives.
• Enable self-service analytics while maintaining data quality and trust.
• Collaborate with risk, security, and platform teams to ensure compliant data usage.
• Mentor and coach engineers on governance practices and KPI tracking.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce governance standards for the GenAI data platform across multiple domains.
• Lead the design and delivery of data pipelines, data quality controls, and metadata pipelines.
• Oversee data cataloging, lineage tracking, and data classification initiatives.
• Partner with risk and security to ensure secure, compliant data access for tenants.
• Coach teams on adopting governance frameworks and measuring platform adoption.
