GenAI Functional Analyst

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina or Jersey City, New Jersey - Hybrid Scheduling

What's the Job?

• Lead end-to-end functional ownership of GenAI initiatives, including summarization and chatbot solutions, from requirements gathering through UAT and delivery.
• Engage with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into clear, actionable requirements and influence senior leadership.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define, build, and test AI-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Create comprehensive business and technical requirements, including FSDs and BRDs, and obtain necessary sign-offs.
• Support data sourcing, validation, and ensure the successful implementation of AI solutions within the finance domain.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience managing end-to-end GenAI projects, with proficiency in prompt design and working knowledge of large language models, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate effectively across various organizational levels.
• Hands‑on experience with Python and SQL, with the ability to build POCs and work with AI tools and terminologies.
• Over 10 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in a delivery-focused role.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a keen eye for detail and risk management.
