GlobalPoint is seeking a GenAI Engineer to design, develop, and integrate Generative AI solutions into applications and business processes in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on Python-based AI apps, prompt engineering, and RAG workflows, with API integrations to OpenAI or other providers.

You will work with LangChain, vector databases, and ML concepts to build scalable AI features, collaborating with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, AI/ML, or Generative AI.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Experience with REST APIs and vector databases.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks and tooling such as LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar.

Responsabilidades

We are looking for a GenAI Engineer to design, develop, and integrate Generative AI solutions into applications and business processes. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Python, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, RAG, APIs, and machine learning concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop applications using Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Build and test prompt engineering techniques for different use cases.
• Develop RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications using company documents and knowledge bases.
• Integrate AI models through APIs such as OpenAI or other LLM providers.
• Work with vector databases for storing and searching document embeddings.
• Develop Python-based AI applications and automation workflows.
• Evaluate LLM responses for accuracy, relevance, and quality.
• Perform data preprocessing, document processing, and text extraction.

Education & Experience
