We are currently seeking a Gen AI Director to join our team remotely in the United States.

As a Gen AI Director with NTT DATA’s Data and Artificial Intelligence practice, you will collaborate with a talented team of AI professionals, ensure successful project execution in a client-facing role, and contribute to business growth through your expertise in AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee the delivery of AI projects within the practice, ensuring they meet quality standards, and are completed on time and within budget.
2. Develop and implement strategic plans for the AI practice, aligning with overall business objectives.
3. Mentor and guide AI teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
4. Establish and maintain best practices for AI project management, including methodologies, tools, and standards.
5. Provide technical leadership and guidance in AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and GenAI.
6. Ensure the technical quality of AI solutions, including architecture, design, and implementation.
7. Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI technologies and integrate relevant innovations into the practice.
8. Participate in presales activities, including client presentations, proposal development, and solution demonstrations.
9. Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify new opportunities and develop AI solutions that meet client needs.
10. Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their business challenges, and proposing tailored AI solutions.
11. Develop and present compelling AI use cases and success stories to highlight the value of AI solutions to prospective clients.
12. Scope, plan, and manage complex AI projects from inception to completion.
13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts, to deliver comprehensive AI solutions.
14. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing, innovation, and experimentation.
15. Drive the development of frameworks, capabilities, and features for the AI practice, enhancing the overall quality and impact of AI solutions.
16. Engage with clients at all levels to understand their AI needs and business objectives.
17. Provide strategic advice and thought leadership on AI initiatives, helping clients leverage AI to drive business value.
18. Ensure exceptional client satisfaction by delivering high-quality AI solutions that meet or exceed client expectations while maintaining a utilization of at least 50%.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of designing solutions utilizing key data providers and hyperscalers (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Sagemaker/Bedrock, GCP AI Platform/Vertex AI, and Azure).
• 10+ years hands-on experience working with large-scale data solutions; covering strategy, data preparation, data quality, ETL, data visualization.
• 4+ years of experience with end-to-end AI/ML solutions.
• 3+ years experience with AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch) and programming (e.g., Python) and building and deploying AI models.
• 1+ years experience with GenAI; Advanced RAG, Agentic Frameworks, GANNs, Transformers, LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Llama).

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
• Ability to travel at least 10-25%.
• AI/ML certification(s) from recognized platforms.
• Experience working with LLM architecture/fine-tuning LLMs.
• Knowledge of generative models, GANs, and transformer-based models.
• Knowledge of ethical standards related to AI.
• Proficiency in programming languages.
• Domain expertise in Healthcare, Financial Services, Manufacturing, or Public Sector.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $169,088 to $329,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on various factors including location, experience, skills, and qualifications.
