Description

This position in the Gel/Tag Department centers in preparing sub-assemblies and finished product to correct specifications and orientation according to customer and/or product requirements.

(This is an Entry Level Position!!)

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Working / set-up lasers for running markers and tags.
  • Working / set-up hot stamp machine to run tags.
  • Hand out parts to assemblers to be hooked and bagged.
  • Package finished goods for stock and orders that need to be shipped
  • Fill F-seal bottles
  • Cut and bag tar strips
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Observe and adhere to all safety and production rules/guidelines
  • Excellent attendance
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to by management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Detail-oriented and consistent.
  • Works well as a productive member of a team.
  • Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change
  • Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 1 – 50 lbs. frequently
  • Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed.
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.

Payrate: $13.00 + Benefits
