Title: Assembler

Tentative start date: asap

Tentative end date: end of 2024

Work shift (days/times): 1st Shift from 6am to 2:30pm est

Travel Required (% of travel): zero travel

Job Description:

  • Performs limited electronic, electromechanical, mechanical and support production assembly and functions of a repetitive nature to build and assemble routine units.

Job Duties:

  • Handle small, delicate parts with a high degree of accuracy to perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly.
  • Follow method sheets to ensure documented and controlled processes are followed to assemble various electronic components.
  • Perform a variety of electro-mechanical assembly operations by using common hand tools such as wire strippers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and soldering equipment.
  • May operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly/production equipment.
  • Notifies group leader or supervisor of quality or other issues.
  • May need to complete other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination while using a microscope.
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods of time and complete tasks using a microscope.
  • The ability to follow both verbal and written instructions along with strong communication skills.
  • Capability to use a computer and enter accurate data. Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
  • Being flexible to changing needs of the business and department and will work overtime as needed.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Organized, work independently with minimum supervision and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Able to sit and work under a microscope for extended periods of time.
