Job description

Join to apply for the Geek Squad Delivery Driver role at Best Buy.

As a Geek Squad Delivery Driver, you’ll be responsible for the delivery, installation, repair, and haul-away of appliances, televisions, and other tech. You’ll determine the best way to deliver major appliances into homes and other locations, including measuring and protecting areas in the installation route. You may need to detach doors or move fixtures as necessary. Internally, this role is called a Delivery Experience Agent.

What You’ll Do
  1. Attend to delivery duties, including installation, networking, and repair of devices, focusing on home theater equipment and appliances.
  2. Provide a seamless client experience by advising on product placement, services, and content.
  3. Manage inventory and vehicle maintenance with team members.
  4. Process paperwork and payments, provide feedback, and complete in-store repairs.
  5. Train new drivers.
  6. Lead and assist with two-person jobs and perform work alone.
Basic Qualifications
  • 6 months of consumer electronics delivery, integration, network, or repair experience, or military equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Maintain a driving record meeting Best Buy’s safety standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 350 pounds alone or 700 pounds with a team, using appropriate equipment.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Obtain and maintain any required state or local licenses within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership, decision-making, communication, and client relation skills.
  • Experience in in-home installation environments.
  • Experience with technology products.
