Responsibilities for a GED Teacher include but are not limited to:

• Plan and deliver instructional lessons covering key High School Equivalency core subjects, including Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

• Utilize effective teaching strategies and classroom management skills to provide clear directions, explanations, and support to adult learners.

• Manage course materials, student assessments, and clear communication using Microsoft Office and integrated instructional technology.

• Foster an inclusive, cross-culturally sensitive learning environment tailored to students from diverse educational and background experiences.

Candidates for GED Teacher must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Teaching, or a related field required.

• Native-like fluency in written and spoken English, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

• 3 years of teaching experience in High School Equivalency / adult education strongly preferred.

• Strong classroom management, organizational skills, and technology integration skills (bilingual proficiency is a plus).

• Shift: Thursdays from 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM (Part-time, 2 to 5 total hours per week)

Pay Details: $40.00 per hour
