Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring a Stocking Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain fully stocked shelves. The role involves assisting customers, stocking products, and supporting merchandising tasks to ensure a smooth store operation.

Ideal candidates are comfortable with basic technology, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Overnight shifts are available to prep the store for the day ahead.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
