SEW-EURODRIVE - USA in Lyman, South Carolina is hiring for a 3rd shift assembler. The role covers assembly processes, inventory, parts pulling, testing and packing, with a focus on parts pulling. Candidates should learn SEW-EURODRIVE products and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must learn SEW-EURODRIVE products and technical details.
• Mechanical aptitude to assemble gear drives and motors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions.
• Good oral and written communication and organizational skills.
• Physical activity including lifting and reaching to meet production needs.
• Must stand and move continuously during shifts.
• Capability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Hand-assemble gear motors, reducers, and adjustable drives.
• Maintain inventory stock between assembly lines and perform parts pulling.
• Repair/restock/warranty evaluations, testing, washing/prep/paint, packing, shipping/receiving.
• Ensure work is visually inspected and rework when necessary.
• Read supporting docs and monitor workspace cleanliness.
• Rotate to various jobs within Assembly Shop.
