Bell-Textron Inc. is seeking a Gear, Cutter & Grinder Technician to support manufacturing operations at our Drive Systems Center in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Work Performed:

• Set up and operate gear manufacturing equipment, including gear cutters, grinders, shavers, and lapping machines, to produce gears and splines such as spiral bevel, helical, and hypoid gears.
• Ensure setups and work are held to extremely close tolerances.
• Assist in the development of new gears and gear cutting processes.
• Test and inspect gears using gear testing and checking machines.
• Perform grinding on case-hardened surfaces as required.

Tools & Equipment Used:

• Gear manufacturing, testing, and checking equipment, machinists’ hand tools, and precision measuring instruments.
