GDS MENA Other Consulting – Business Analyst

Summary: There is an exciting opportunity for a high-caliber Senior/Manager to join GDS MENA as a Business Analyst to support Government and Public Sector engagements on a full-time basis.

Job Description:

1. Facilitate workshops with business and IT teams for implementation prioritization aligned with client strategy.
2. Prepare detailed Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) documents linking legislation to business processes.
3. Conduct current state assessments to identify gaps and opportunities.
4. Gather requirements through stakeholder workshops and consolidate operational needs.
5. Draft comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) clearly defining client needs and solutions.
6. Develop User Acceptance Test scenarios and scripts aligned with client objectives.
7. Ensure implementation quality, meeting standards of accuracy, functionality, and compliance.
8. Collaborate with teams to integrate client requirements into broader systems and processes.
9. Provide insights and recommendations during project planning and execution.
10. Develop and deliver training programs for client personnel on new systems.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years experience as a Business Analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field.
• Business analysis certification is desirable.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analysis tools like Visio.
• Experience in project management and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and prioritization skills.
