The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues with university fleet vehicles, including routine maintenance and parts replacement. The role is based at the Main Campus at 33rd Ave and Camelback.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and repair golf carts, shuttle buses, and high-speed vehicles.
  • Perform maintenance on fleet vehicles and manage inventory using Facilities software.
  • Train student workers on departmental tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with vehicle maintenance, fault inspection, and small engine repair.
  • Experience with vehicle diagnostic equipment.
  • Certification in maintenance and repair of large and mid-sized shuttles (must attain).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Pass pre-employment background check.
