Job summary
MathCo is seeking a GCP Solutions Architect to help Fortune 500/Global 2000 clients modernize technology landscapes, accelerate cloud transformation, and unlock business value with Google Cloud, Data, Analytics, and AI solutions.
You will be the technical advisor partnering with Client Partners, Account Leaders, and executives to shape innovative solutions, roadmaps, and transformation plans across cloud adoption, data platforms, and AI initiatives.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Customer Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, Cloud Consulting, Enterprise Architecture, or related client-facing technology roles.
- Demonstrated success supporting enterprise technology pursuits and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Experience partnering with sales, account management, and executive stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Proven ability to influence technical and business decision-makers within large organizations.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills.
- Experience developing solution strategies that align technology investments with business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of cloud adoption frameworks, enterprise architecture principles, and modernization strategies.

- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand client business objectives, technology landscapes, and transformation priorities.
- Develop compelling solution strategies, business cases, and value propositions that address client challenges and demonstrate measurable business impact.
- Design high-level solution architectures and transformation roadmaps leveraging Google Cloud Platform.
- Conduct executive workshops, architecture sessions, technical assessments, and cloud strategy engagements.
- Support platform evaluations, proof-of-concept initiatives, and technical validation efforts.
- Deliver compelling executive presentations and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Serve as the technical lead throughout the solutioning lifecycle, helping clients evaluate and adopt modern cloud, data, and AI technologies.

As part of our growing Cloud & AI practice, we are looking for a client-facing GCP Solutions Architect to help organizations modernize technology landscapes, accelerate cloud transformation, and unlock business value through Google Cloud, Data, Analytics, and AI solutions.
As a GCP Solutions Architect, you will serve as the primary technical advisor supporting strategic pursuits, client growth initiatives, and cloud transformation opportunities. Working closely with Client Partners, Account Leaders, and executive stakeholders, you will shape innovative solutions that address complex business challenges and drive adoption of Google Cloud technologies.
You will combine deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to guide clients through cloud strategy, platform evaluations, solution design, and transformation planning. This role sits at the intersection of technical sales, solution architecture, executive advisory, and business growth.
The ideal candidate has experience in technical pre-sales, customer engineering, solutions architecture, or cloud consulting and enjoys engaging with executive stakeholders, developing solution strategies, and influencing large-scale technology decisions.
- Partner with Client Partners and Account Leaders to identify, qualify, and pursue strategic cloud, data, analytics, and AI opportunities.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand client business objectives, technology landscapes, and transformation priorities.

- Support proposal development, RFPs, RFIs, Statements of Work, and executive business cases.
- Build strong relationships with technology executives, including CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and Digital Transformation leaders.
- Identify opportunities to expand Google Cloud, Data, Analytics, and AI services across existing and prospective accounts.
- Develop technical win strategies that position MathCo as a trusted transformation partner.
- Contribute directly to business growth through solution leadership and executive engagement.
- Partner with alliance and ecosystem teams to strengthen relationships with Google Cloud and other strategic partners.
- Provide strategic guidance on cloud modernization, data platform transformation, analytics enablement, and AI adoption.
- Architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions using Google Cloud technologies.
- Advise clients on cloud governance, operating models, security, reliability, and scalability best practices.
- Support AI and Generative AI adoption strategies leveraging Google's ecosystem, including Vertex AI and related technologies.
- Help clients define cloud adoption roadmaps and prioritize initiatives that maximize business value and ROI.
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions can be successfully implemented and scaled.
- Contribute to MathCo's cloud and AI thought leadership through client-facing content, workshops, events, and innovation initiatives.
- Develop reusable solution frameworks, accelerators, and architecture patterns.
- Mentor consultants, architects, and engineers across the organization.
- Stay current on Google Cloud innovations and emerging trends across AI, analytics, and cloud technologies.
- 8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Customer Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, Cloud Consulting, Enterprise Architecture, or related client-facing technology roles.
- Demonstrated success supporting enterprise technology pursuits and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Experience partnering with sales, account management, and executive stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Proven ability to influence technical and business decision-makers within large organizations.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills.
- Experience developing solution strategies that align technology investments with business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of cloud adoption frameworks, enterprise architecture principles, and modernization strategies.
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Certification.
- Experience in Customer Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Sales roles within cloud, data, or AI organizations.
- Experience supporting enterprise platform evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and cloud migration initiatives.
- Experience with Vertex AI, Gemini, MLOps, and Generative AI solutions.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, or other modern cloud and data ecosystems.
- Consulting or professional services experience supporting Fortune 500 organizations.
- Industry expertise across CPG, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Financial Services, Technology, or Life Sciences.
In your first 12-18 months, you will:
