Job summary

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, security-first design, and collaboration with external vendors and internal stakeholders to align with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with GCP IAM and identity management.
• Hands-on with Cloud Run/Functions, Pub/Sub, and GKE.
• Proficient in Terraform and Python or Go.
• Experience delivering secure, compliant solutions.
• Experience leading AI-assisted engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and technical troubleshooting beyond routine approaches.
• Leads architecture and delivery of GCP platform capabilities (landing zones, org/folder/project hierarchy, networking).
• Builds and maintains reusable automation and paved roads (Terraform modules, CI/CD enablement).
• Owns GCP security guardrails: IAM/role engineering, service accounts, policies.
• Designs identity federation and IAM governance automation for audit readiness.
• Drives adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed.
• Leads vendor evaluations to probe architectural designs for applicability.
